Environmental Landscape Design
Following in-depth assessment of a given area all
the environmental paramters are recorded, and from this a full discussion
of any areas of concern can be reached. This leads to the landscape
design stage that is an important part of any project proposals.
This design will reflect local knowledge and ensure
that local and indigenous species form components of the design.
The result is a report and environmental landscape
design that mirrors natural features, and indicates ways that any
development proposal can 'settle' into the area without conflicting
with existing 'nature' or any legislation as part of the town and
Country planning acts or Environmental Law.
Astell Associates have a practical base and over the
years this expertise in Engineering, Drainage/Hydrology, Arboriculture/Tree
Surgery and project management has been used to promote environmentally
based landscape designs that incorporate these different skills
to protect the environment and to increase the biodiversity of an
area.
