Overton House - Dumbarton

Overton is a large country house with associated woodland and river habitat to the southeast of Glasgow. A management report was commissioned by the Scottish Development Agency to assess the area and its future management.

The Overton Fen, is on the south side of the Clyde, with spectacular views of the Clyde and north bank from various places on the estate.

Following a woodland report, a woodland management proposal was produced, together with a river and water garden renovation programme.

Access Roads, car parking and public picnic and view point positions were all located as part of the overall proposal to increase public useage and enjoyment of the area.
