Tree Inspection & Management

Detailed tree inspections are carried out to British Standards. Trees are studied individually, and as groups (woodlands). A complete picture of the ecology of the trees is produced, from which management proposals can be constructed.

Astell Associates have worked with many Planning Authorities in Scotland and England over the last twenty years, promoting tree health and management, working toward a greater understanding of trees, tree health and tree ecology.

Arboriculture

Arboriculture is seen as a developing science, with importance being placed on trees as components of an interlinked environment, rather than as individual entities.

Tree reports have been carried out for woodland management, development proposals and golf courses. These reports highlight conservation, and also habitat creation and diversity within the designated parameters.
